First floor: University Heights Science Park administration
Second and third floors: Generic laboratory spaces for research of biomaterials and medical devices
Designed for future two story vertical expansion
Challenges
As the corner building of the $200 million science park, the building serves as both an anchor and a threshold to the campus
The opaque walls emphasize the building’s biomaterial lab function, while the glass stair tower opens up the building’s
corner to three major streets and at night becomes a beacon of light to
the campus
