Program
Alterations and renovations of partial basement area of the historic building, originally built in 1928 with a subsequent addition in 1993.

In response to increased foot traffic, RSA conducted an adjacency and circulation study to maximize efficiency and use of existing spaces. The study has included various city departments, and has resulted in a project that will convert substandard spaces to utilize all spaces for current and future departmental use.

This project also includes code compliance with Accessibility and Rehabilitation Subcode.

Challenges
Assessment of existing structural integrity, building systems and general overall building conditions

Integration of security components

Phasing of construction to minimize disruption to existing departments
